What We Do

Who Are Jackfrost . . .

Jackfrost HVAC Ltd was formed back in 2021 in order to focus on the immediate need for reliable tradespeople within the commercial HVAC sector focusing predominantly on heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems as we emerged from COVID-19. As a fully F-Gas and Refcom certified organisation, we quickly became established and made a name for ourselves in the hospitality sector but the vision of the company was still to be fully developed focusing further on the domestic Heat Pump market.

In order for NetZero targets to be met, there needs to be a massive push for reliable tradespeople to get involved in the transition to heat-pump based heating systems. Currently, we are seeking MCS accreditation which will allow us to get much more involved in this area involving Air to Water heat pump heating solutions for commercial and domestic premises.

Since COVID-19, we have seen a massive surge on local business being more conscious of general ventilation. Jackfrost specialise in the design and installation of bespoke ventilation systems which can either be simple fresh air supply and extraction of customer areas or more complex and highly efficient HVHR (Mechanical Ventilation & Heat Recovery) solutions.

Traditional Air to Air heating and cooling systems is where we see continued growth and is a big part of what we do whether it be ad-hoc service and support or full design, installation and commissioning. The term "Air Conditioning" has for a long time, been associated with cold air or cooling. The latest Inverter-based systems provide the best of both worlds as we specifically design and install them to be the primary heating system within commercial premises which has the added benefit of cooling in the few weeks or months we need it the west of Scotland. These are highly efficient, cheap to run heating solutions and we are seeing more of an uptake in the domestic residential market as an alternative to Air to Water solutions that come with more stringent installation regulations and general install complexities.
